GARANTİ KOZA Chairman of the Board After taking an undergraduate degree from Bosphorus University Mechanics Department, he studied in Arizona State University Nuclear and Energy Engineering Department graduate program. After finishing his master program dating from 1985 he worked as the responsible of the electro-mechanical works coordination besides GARANTİ KOZA’s ongoing abroad projects management and improvement.

Later on under the chairmanship of Mimel Construction and Strategy Investment Companies, which is founded by himself, he had operations in sectors of international project development, investment, service, and finance.

At the end of 2003, Şükrü İlkel took up the shares of GARANTİ KOZA’s Balfour Beatty and Koç Holding. Transfering of Koç Group and Balfour Beatty shares to Şükrü İlkel realized in January 19, 2004 by the board’s resolution; and purchasing operation is approved in the general meeting in 24.03.2004.

After the restructuring of Koç Group, one a shareholders since 1976, the sales of GARANTİ KOZA, one of the pioneer groups in constructing sector since 1948, came up to the agenda. Şükrü İlkel, whom realized successful projects in finance sector and worked in management stages of GARANTI KOZA before, took over all of the shares of GARANTI KOZA.

Dr. Ahmet Murat BİNARK

GARANTİ KOZA Vice Chairman and General Manager Dr. A. Murat BİNARK, Vice Chairman and General Manager of GARANTİ KOZA completed his graduate and doctorate studies in Germany Karlsruhe University. He served in the international projects and in various management stages in construction sector beginning from 1980, and he managed the continuing projects of GARANTİ KOZA in Russia, Kazakhstan and Saudi Arabia

Dr. Murat Binark is the Vice Chairman and General Manager responsible of the subjects such as proposals, planning, project and design, cost control, contracts, bargaining, business development, data processing, foreign business, land development and similar things. Following the ongoing land development activities when he was the general manager in Skanska-Thor between 1995-2001, he joined GARANTİ KOZA community in 1980, and he has been working as the general manager of GARANTİ KOZA since 2001.

Ergül HACIM, Assistant General Manager of GARANTİ KOZA, got his undergraduate degree from Istanbul Technical University Department of Construction, and completed his graduate program in Bosphorus University Construction Department. Beginning from 1982, he worked as the responsible of electro-mechanic works and real state works coordinations besides realized GARANTI KOZA projects including cost estimation, structural planning, contract management, preparing of proposals, development of discovery/cost/planning control, quality control/quality assurance, data processing, construction works and logistics management in various construction sites in and out of Turkey.

After graduating from Ankara Economic and Commercial Sciences Academy, Münir ŞİŞKOLAR Assistant General Manager of GARANTİ KOZA, worked as the responsible of administraitive affairs coordination besides accounting and financial affairs management of GARANTİ KOZA’s ongoing projects in Turkey and abroad beginning from 1975.
